Welcome to Glenview Evangelical Free Church where we want to be the body of Christ to those around us in our communities.
Romans 12:5 tells us:  ... so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

How does the body of Christ find life here at GEFC?

Our vision is to have:

A Heart for Jesus
The Mind of Christ
Knees for Prayer
Arms of Love
A Voice for the Great News
A Spirit of Servanthood

We invite you to join our Worship Services or a Sunday School Class. We also offer many Bible Studies throughout the week and Small Groups meet at various times and places.

Direct Access is a Sunday evening worship opportunity for folks inside and outside GEFC. Direct Access will have high impact worship and life changing Biblical teaching. The teaching will be primarily handled by GEFC Pastoral staff and occasional guest speakers.
The Direct Access worship opportunity is not a replacement or duplicate of our Sunday morning services. Direct Access is a worship experience for believers and a great access point for others to the life of the GEFC body.

Direct Access is held the third Sunday evening of each month. Upon arrival you will be greeted with a warm smile and handshake. You will also be given your FREE back stage pass with the current series and scripture to add to your key chain calendar. If you haven't been yet, you are missing out on a great opportunity to hear some of the North Shore's finest musicians and vocals and to worship in a comfortable "come as you are" atmosphere.

The EFCA movement exists to glorify God by multiplying healthy churches
 among all people.

The Evangelical Free Church of America is an association of some 1,300 autonomous churches united by a mutual commitment to serve our Lord Jesus Christ with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and obedience to the Word of God. We are committed to cooperate with one another in ministry and fellowship as we seek to fulfill the Great Commission which Christ has entrusted to His Church. The growing ministry of the EFCA currently extends to some 45 countries of the world.

What Does "Evangelical" Mean?
The term Evangelical refers to our commitment to the proclamation of the Gospel and to the authority of Scriptures as being inerrant in the original writings and the only safe and sufficient guide to faith and practice.

What Does "Free" Mean?
The term Free refers to our form of church government as being congregational. Evangelical Free Churches depend upon the active participation of lay people in the decisions and directions.
